EXPERIMENTAL PHYSICS • OPTICS • LASERS
I am an experimental physics student interested in lasers, optical cavities, ultrafast optics and photonics.
01 — ABOUT
I am a physics student working in experimental optics and laser physics. My interests include laser systems, optical resonators, Gaussian beams, nonlinear optics and ultrafast photonics.
I enjoy building experimental systems, characterizing optical components and combining experimental work with numerical simulations.
02 — RESEARCH
Development, alignment and characterization of solid-state and diode-pumped laser systems.
Resonator design, Gaussian beam propagation, mode matching and cavity stability.
Interest in ultrashort laser pulses, nonlinear optics and light–matter interaction.
Optical measurements, interferometry, beam characterization and experimental instrumentation.
03 — PROJECTS
Design and development of a Ti:sapphire laser cavity, including Gaussian mode calculations, cavity stability analysis, pump focusing and experimental alignment.
Experimental investigation of nanoscale mechanical motion on liquid surfaces using optical interferometry.
Measurement and analysis of laser beam profiles, divergence, waist size and propagation characteristics.
